Robert Clyde Baker, 86 of Bourne, MA passed away peacefully on May 5, 2014 at Bourne Manor surrounded by his family. Robert was born August 26th 1927 in Newton, MA. He worked as an engineer in the Merchant Marines for 20 years and later went on to work at Canal Electric as an Engine Room Supervisor. He leaves behind the mother of his children Virginia Baker of Sagamore, MA and his daughters Lesley Cook of Buzzards Bay, MA, Lauren Schilling of Bethesda, MD as well as his late daughter Gina Baker Mercer; a sister, Muriel Gray of West Newton, MA. He also leaves behind his grandchildren Kristen Doherty, Kerri Cook, Robbie and Molli Mercer and is his great grandchildren Caden and Paige Doherty. He will be greatly missed.
