Born in Melrose, MA, a son of the late James and Marian (Higgins) Berrigan, he was predeceased by brothers Arthur and James Berrigan.
A veteran of the United States Army he served during the Korean War. He had worked as an accountant for the federal government for many years.
A visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday, December 8, 2017 at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne. followed by a Funeral Service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to Avow Hospice 1095 Whippoorwill Lane Naples, FL 34109.
