Bob honorably retired from the Army in 1992.
On September 8, 1973, Bob married the love of his life, Ann (Spolidoro). Together, they shared 53 wonderful years of marriage.
He was a proud veteran who served his country with honor and carried that same sense of dedication and integrity throughout his life. A lifelong, die-hard New England Patriots fan, he rarely missed a game and proudly cheered on his team through every season. He was an exceptional cook who expressed his love by bringing family and friends together around the table. He had a gentle heart and a special place in it for animals. No matter the weather, he faithfully walked five miles each day, a reflection of his determination and discipline. Above all, he was a hardworking, devoted family man and a deeply loved grandfather. His strength, kindness, unwavering work ethic, and quiet generosity touched everyone who knew him. He will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered always.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Ann Knapp; his daughters, Elyza Knapp and Caitlyn Beach, and his son-in-law, Gregory Beach. He also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Carter Beach (12), Bradley Beach (8), and Andrew Beach (3), who brought him immense joy. He was preceded in death by his parents George and Betty Knapp.
