Rosina Maria Cadieux

Born on Feb. 27, 1932 to Pietro and Marie Wilson Mantovani in New York City, NY, she was the wife of Raymond A. Cadieux, MD whom she married in 1985. Rosina graduated in 1949 from New York City Schools and subsequently worked in Banking for several years prior to coming to Massachusetts and working at the Brockton Hospital for a total of 23 years in the Medical Record Department. She eventually became registered in Medical Record Sciences and rose to Manager of the Department as well as the Director of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Departments. She retired from Brockton Hospital in 1989.

Mrs. Cadieux was an avid golfer. She belonged to Pocasset Golf Club and Thorney Lea Golf Club in Brockton. She also golfed in Worthington, Florida where she spent winters with her husband. She had an affinity for painting in watercolors.

In addition to her husband she leaves her sons, Kenneth W. Leach and his wife, Michele, of Kingston and Gary Nelson Leach and his wife, Jo-Ellen of Sandwich, a nephew David Rousayne and his wife, Lisa, of Wisconsin, granddaughter, Jillian Ciraolo and her husband, Joseph of Duxbury, grandsons, Kenneth and Justin Leach, Grandnephews, William, Austin & Aaron Rousayne and their mother Carolyn, her husband’s children, Margaret Cadieux Levin of Hull and Marc Cadieux of Menlo Park, CA and their children, Jake & Jesse Levin and Ryan & Cole Cadieux. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Rousayne who died at age 39 and the aunt of the late Steven Rousayne.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 28th at 11:00 a.m. at Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home, 40 MacArthur Blvd, Bourne. Visitation prior to the Service from 9:00 – 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Massachusetts National Cemetery.
