Ruth Marie Lumbert

Ruth Marie Lumbert, of Monument Beach, passed away Saturday, December 30, 2017 at the Royal Falmouth Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Waldo Baker "Wiggy" Lumbert. She was raised in Quincy and after her and Waldo were married they lived in Cape Cod and Pensacola, FL.

She was a member of St. John's Parish. Ruth was also on the Bourne Bowling League and enjoyed weekly bingo at the church.

Born in Quincy, MA, a daughter of the late Roy and Eleanor (Taylor) Cramond.

Ruth had worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a clerk for over 30 years in Monument Beach.

She is survived by a daughter Elizabeth A. Sullivan of Monument Beach; a son, Stephen Wayne Lumbert of Bourne; grandchildren, Lauren Sullivan Golden of Plymouth, Kathleen Sullivan of Plymouth, MA; great grandchildren, Makayla Diaz, Kason Fuselli, Taylor Ruth Fuselli, Maeve Golden and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Stanley Cramond, Joan Connell, Eugene Taylor and William Kane and her late companion, James McLaughlin.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd., Bourne, MA. Visitation prior to service 11 - 2:00 p.m. Burial to follow at Oakland Grove Cemetery. A reception to follows at the Courtyard 1337 County Road Cataumet, MA. In lieu of flowers donations in her memory may be made to Hope Hospice 1 Trowbridge Road Buzzards Bay, MA 02532 and/or EMT's and Bourne Fire Department.
