She was born Sally Louise Nangle on December 12, 1945 in Plymouth, the daughter of the late Charles G. and Marjorie A. (Brown) Nangle. She attended and graduated from Bourne High School in 1965.
She enjoyed reading, but especially spending time with her family. She drove a school bus for 24 years and later worked as a clerk for the town of Bourne for 19 years.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Michael Gibbs of their home in Buzzards Bay, her children; Chad King and his wife Tammi of Buzzards Bay, Charles King and his wife Angel of Plymouth. Her brother William Nangle and his wife Lori of Sandwich, and his sister Karen Forlivesi and her husband Rollie of Plymouth. Five grandchildren; Taylor King, Andrew Miller, Charlee King, Christopher Brownlee, and Ashley Brownlee.
There will be a memorial mass on Tuesday, April 14, at 1:00 PM, at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church on Main Street in Buzzards Bay. Cremation was chosen and inurnment will be at a later date.
The family suggests that memorials be made in Sally’s name to the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Heart Association, 300 5th Avenue, Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451-8750.
