Steven Louis Anderson

Born in New Bedford MA on March 16, 1956, Steven was the youngest son of Jeannine and the late Arthur R. Anderson Sr. Steven went to Upper Cape Technical School and later attended and graduated from Bourne High School. Steven was married for 20 years to Kathleen M. Hinderscheid with whom they had two sons. He was a man of all trades, having worked at Sandwich Marina, Boutins Manufacturing, Kingston Oil and Gas, and for the last 28 years managed his family’s cranberry business. His hobbies and interests were numerous, enjoying saltwater fishing, lobster trapping, deer hunting, cribbage, darts, bowling, and assembling model rockets. He also enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams play, including the Red Sox, Bruins and Patriots. He was generous to all and will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.

Steven is survived by his mother, Jeannine Anderson, his brother, Arthur R. Anderson Jr., his sons Steven J. Anderson and Daniel K. Anderson, his two grandchildren, Cole and Caleigh, his uncles Charles Anderson and Warner Eldredge, his aunt Jane Eldredge, and many cousins.

Friends and relatives are invited to the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home at 40 MacArthur Blvd in Bourne, MA on Thursday, May 4th, 2017. Visiting hours will be held from 4pm to 6pm with a memorial service to follow immediately thereafter. Burial will be private.
