Vivian Wallace Belanger

Born in Plymouth, MA, she was a lifelong resident of Pembroke. She was the loving daughter of the late Harry and Priscilla (Wallace) Monk. Mrs. Belanger attended Bridgewater State College and graduated from Eastern Nazarene College in Quincy, MA. She was an English teacher and for many years she was an ESL tutor for numerous schools.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a loving daughter, Leslie Jameson and her husband Richard of Dedham, MA; 3 devoted sons, John Belanger, Jr., and his wife Rute of Duxbury, MA, Jason Belanger and his wife Yuriko of Pembroke, MA, Justin Belanger and his fiancée Kristy Boudreau of Tamarac, FL; a sister, Sylvia Fernandes of Sharpsburg, NC; 8 loving grandchildren, Michael, Derek, Matthew, Devin, Miya, Saya, Amelia and Vivian and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Janet Fossel.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service Monday, February 22, 2016 at 12 noon at the First Church of Christ 136 Main Street Sandwich, MA. Interment at the Massachusetts National Cemetery. Calling hours Sunday 2 - 5 p.m. at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd. Bourne, MA 02532.
