I am thankful for the simple lessons on good and bad, right and wrong, respect for authority that those characters taught that seems to be lost in todays entertainment. I hope that you as a family continue in "the peace of God that excels all thought".(Philippians 4:7)

When you think of it, we are all "underdogs"! All of us are disadvantaged because we all get sick and eventually die! Mr. Biggers was a wonderful cartoonist who also was a wonderful man. Our Creator wants us to have a perfect, happy, unending life and He has made provision to do just that. And he informs us of His loving intentions in such verses as this one: "and he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more. Neither will mourning, nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Then, there will be no more "underdogs"!

The world has lost a kind and gentle man. I will always have such wonderful memories of spending time with Watts and Nancy, singing, laughing and listening to Roy Orborson.
