

He was born in Warren, RI, the son of the late Walter & Sophie Jaworski. He graduated from Warren High School in 1949, and in later years, earned an associate degree in business management from Fisher Junior College.
Mr. Jaworski was an Air Force Veteran, having served 25 years on active duty. His duty assignments covered several states, plus Japan, Turkey, Vietnam, and Germany. He received numerous awards and citations and was the recipient of the Bronze star in Vietnam, and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant in 1974.
After his outstanding military career he was employed by the BP Cape Cod area Distributor, J.R. Sousa & Sons, Inc. as business Office Manager from 1975-1982. He was also employed by the J.P Noonan Transportation Co., Inc with various administrative duties from 1982-1996.
His retirement years were spent in Pocasset, MA and Amelia Island, FL. He was a member of the Otis Golf Course and Little Harbor Country Club in Wareham, MA.
Other organizations where he belonged to are: Life-time member VFW #697, in Whitman, MA, NCOA & Tera Military Organization, St. Peters on the canal Church, Cape Cod Basketball officials, Board # 152, Eagles Nest at Otis AFB, and the AARP Organization.
He was a longtime advocate for veterans and retired military causes.
Survivors include his wife Karen (Michelson) Jaworski, whom he loved dearly for 69 years, his son James G. Jaworski, and his charming wife Kathleen, and his two beloved grandchildren; James G. Jaworski, Jr. and Jonathan Jaworski.
Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday November 15, 2025 at 10 am, St. Gabriels Episcopal Church, 124 Front St, Marion, MA, burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, route 6 in Marion. All are welcome.
