William L. "Bill" Cash, 62, was a proud father to three daughters, Ellie, Carey, and Andrea. He was also a mentor and paternal influence to many others, lending his ears and his gentle words of wisdom with patience and understanding. He was always eager to help a friend in need.
He served six years in the Air Force, followed by 27 years of federal service to the 102 Fighter Wing working as a Power Production Specialist and Barrier Maintenance Mechanic before retiring in 2008.
He enjoyed his retirement riding his motorcycle, on his boat and taking road trips to visit family and friends. He loved life and fought cancer for ten months before passing peacefully in his home on the evening of June 24th, surrounded by his loving family. He will always be remembered as a devoted son, brother, husband, father, uncle, grandfather, and friend.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the Nickerson-Bourne Funeral Home 40 MacArthur Blvd. at 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 for a procession to the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne for a graveside service.
