William C. Loos passed away May 29, 2021 at the age of 88. Bill was born in New York and the family moved to Auburn, MA in 1942. He graduated from Auburn High School and served in the Army during the Korean War. He resided in Uxbridge with his first wife, Delores. He then move to Monument Beach on Cape Cod with his second wife Aileen.
Bill was employed by the telephone company until his retirement. He had an insatiable desire to live near water and loved boating. His favorite boat was name “Loos Change” on which he spent many memorable days. Bill never met a stranger. His introduction to anyone he had not met was “Hello, I’m Bill Loos” and soon he had another new friend.
Bill was preceded in death by both wives. He leaves to mourn 4 children and 3 step-children: Son Robert and his wife Beth, Son John and his partner Linda Fowles, Daughter Diane and her partner Glenn Mann, Son David and his partner Yadira Meza-Juarez, step-daughters Lara Laskowski and Priscilla Avery and step-son Michael. Also he leaves his sister Joan and her husband Dr. Temple Williams. Bill had 5 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
In following his wishes, there will be no calling hours. A private burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Uxbridge MA at a later date. Anyone wishing to make a donation in his memory is asked to please donate to St. Jude’s Hospital for Children, whom he faithfully supported throughout the years.
