Audrey Ann Boushell

She had lived in Greenbelt for 63 years until she moved to Severna Park in the fall of 2021.

She was born Audrey Ann Gibson in Liverpool, England and married Carl Boushell (deceased) on March 31,1956; afterward they came to the US. She is survived by her sister Norma and many nieces/nephews in England. Audrey is also survived by her daughter Lorraine (husband Michael), her son Clinton (wife Susan), daughter Valerie (husband Kumar), grandsons Michael (wife Christine), Eric, Nicholas, and Stephen, and great-grandson Murphy.

Audrey was very active in the community and spent as much time as possible with her family and friends. She enjoyed walking around the Lake and working in the garden with Carl. Her grandsons greatly appreciated when she took each of them to Liverpool to meet their British relatives when they turned 12 years old.

Her hobbies included knitting/crocheting and watching British shows and old movies. Audrey was an active member of local Methodist churches for 63 years (including Mowatt Memorial and College Park Methodist Churches). She was a member of the women's group at the College Park United Methodist Church and volunteered (with Carl) with Meals on Wheels of College Park. She had a diverse work history as a dental assistant at the McCarl Dental Group in Greenbelt, a floral assistant at Behnke's in Beltsville, and a telephone operator for NASA in Greenbelt.

A visitation for Audrey will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715.

The funeral service will be on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 11:00 AM, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715. THE FUNERAL LOCATION HAS CHANGED TO THE ROBERT E. EVANS FUNERAL HOME, WE ARE NO LONGER GOING THE THE CHAPEL AT THE UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND.

The graveside service will follow the Funeral Service at Fort Lincoln Cemetery, 3401 BLADENSBURG RD, BRENTWOOD, MD 20722.
