Betty Mae (Dennis) McCutchen, age 78 of Centreville, MD found peace with the Lord on June 8, 2022 due to complications with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF).
Betty always loved being around family and friends, especially during the holidays. All her life she enjoyed cooking and baking where she perfected every dish and desert she prepared. Over the years she really loved getting together with the ladies in her communities to play cards and gather at the social hours. She was very proud of all her children and grandchildren and loved to talk and brag about them all the time. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and mother-in-law. She loved traveling and going on cruises with her husband and friends.
Betty is survived by her loving husband Mickey McCutchen whom she married on August 26, 1961 over 60 years ago, her three children Ray McCutchen (Pam McCutchen) of Mechanicsville, MD, Deb Lenchner (Jim Lenchner) of Queen Anne, MD and Karen Thomas (Tim Hagan) of Hampton, NJ.
Grandchildren: Kristin Ballard (Evan Ballard), Ashley McCutchen, Lindsey McCutchen, Katie McCutchen, Danny Lenchner and Courtney Thomas.
Great Grandchild: Teagan Ballard
Friends and Family are invited to a visitation for Betty on Tuesday June 14, 2022 from 10:00am to 12:00pm at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715. The family will have a private funeral service at the cemetery, following the visitation.
