It is bittersweet as I write this. How do I put into words feelings that, between us, never had to be spoken. You and I had, and will continue to have, such a special bond. From the first day we met until our last conversation, we could look at each other and know what the other was thinking. Even miles apart, when we reconnected it was as though no time had passed. I am sad that I will never hear your voice again or see your beautiful smile and mischievous eyes but overjoyed that you are at peace and getting the rest and reward you so richly deserve.
