Charles Hoover Kienast of Lanham, Maryland died Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at home with his family and friends and his hospice nurse William Hector Rodriguez-Lott by his side. Charles is the husband of Anne Marie Kienast; father of John Kienast and his girlfriend Ann of the Eastern Shore, Maryland and Craig Kienast and his wife Nancy of Bowie, Maryland; brother of David Kienast and his wife Judy; grandfather of Ashley, Harvey and Engels. Services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Melanoma Fund Foundation at the Washington Hospital Center, Washington D.C. or the Capital Caring Hospice, 2900 Telestar Court, Falls Church, VA 22042.
