Donald Starr Swan of Bowie, Maryland died on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Sunrise Nursing Home of Rockville, Maryland. Donald was the husband of the late Mary Swan; father of Lynne E. Tauber and her husband James Tauber of Rockville, Maryland, Ellen Swan of New York, New York and Robert Swan of Bridgeville, Delaware. Donald is also survived by a brother Walter Swan and a grandson James Patrick Tauber. Family will receive friends at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, Maryland 20715 on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2010. Interment will be 3 p.m. at Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, Maryland.
