Donna Lea King of Bowie passed December 26, 2014. Beloved wife of the late William Allen King, to whom she was married for 48 years, mother of Hope R. Moro (Gregory) of Danville, PA, Donna I. Kelly (Donald) of Westminster and William A. King IV (Rosalind) of Rockville, sister of Gary Carroll and the late Chris Cottrill and Lee Carroll, grandmother of Megan, Maddy, Blake, Cole, Will and Abby. She grew up as a member of and served in the Salvation Army. She was a proud member of the Bowie community for 50 years and highly involved in Republican politics, also serving as an election judge for several years.
Family will receive friends on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 12pm until the time of memorial service at 1 pm at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, MD 20715. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Washington Area Fuel Fund (which is administered by the Salvation Army) at washingtonareafuelfund.org or P.O. Box 1999 Washington, DC 20013.
