Edith Elizabeth Fezie

Of Upper Marlboro, Maryland on Sunday, June 15, 2014. Edith was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 5, 1917. She worked as a clerk and a telephone operator. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, crocheting, watching television game shows Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, and spending time with her family.

Daughter of the late Carl A. and Elizabeth Marie Anderson, beloved wife of the late Stephen Fezie. She is survived by her two sons Joseph Carl (June) Fezie and Glenn Stephen (Susan) Fezie. Was cherished grandmother to Rebecca Carrie (Rey) Menejia, Laura Grace Fezie, Melissa Anne Fezie and Nicholas Stephen Fezie; and great-grandmother to Ryan Michael Menejia and Reese Makayla Menejia; devoted sister to Mildred E. Staschke and a host of other relatives and friends.

On Thursday, June 19, 2014 the family will receive visitors from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, Maryland. Private interment will be held at Fort Lincoln Cemetery at a later date. The family asks, in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
