Dear Debbie,I just heard of Ed's passing today.  Clarence and I are very sorry for your family's loss.  We will miss you both and the staff.  You will definitely be in our prayers.

Debbie, you and Ed were quite a team. We were truly sorry to hear about his passing. We have been clients since the very early 80's when Ed's office was in Lanham. The personal service that we recieved by far exceeded even the highest standard of excellence. Ed always took the time to patiently explain, whatever we needed, whenever we needed, from auto insurance, homeowners, life and even retirement plans. He even offered us tickets to games when he had them. He truly was one of a kind and we will miss him.

We all grew up together in Cheverly. I don't remember not being insured by Mr. Cornelius and then his son.  I just found out today about Ed's passing.  I'm so sorry for your loss.  Please know that you are in my prayers.

Our hearts, prayers,and thoughts go out to the family, while all wonderful memories of my buddy Ed will be fondly found on my face as a quiet smirk as i remember a joke or saying he said.  he will be missed by so many.

I am an insurance client.  I was shocked when I rec'd notification.  I never had the priviledge of meeting Ed.  When His father, John Cornelius, retired, he suggested I meet Ed, but I never took the time.  I regret not having met him; I took it for granted that he would always be there.  He was always so helpful whenever I talked with him.

Ed,it has taken these past 2 weeks for me to really grasp the fact that you did leave us on December 9th!  Working with you for the past six years has been a blessing and a joy--you were a great boss and a wonderful friend.  We became agents on the same day -November lst, 1975--37 years ago--and I have known since that day tht I could call on you for help.  Thank you, Ed, I will always be your friend. Dear Debbie:

As you know I've been a client of Ed's for over 35 years and am in shock at hearing the news of Ed's passing.  Ed was a great guy and was the best agent any customer could ask for, as he always looked out for the best interests of me and my family (who all became Ed's customers).  What I will always remember are the many times I called for a quick business related question, but then we always ended up being on the phone for around an hour talking baseball.  Ed sure did love his baseball!  My last conversation with him was in the late summer and he was just gushing about the Nats, and we spent about a very long time talking about some of the games and commented on most every player in what ended up being a dream season.  I am so glad that Ed lived to enjoy it.  For me, the Nats 2013 season will be dedicated to Ed, and something tells me they will win the World Series as Ed will surely be looking down upon them and sending them his positive vibes.
