Erlinda Castro

Erlinda S. Castro, on July 31, 2017, "Linda", beloved wife of Delfin M Castro, entered into eternal rest. She was a devoted mother to Joseph and Ann Castro, Danilo and Geraldine Castro, Jennifer and William Hines, and Camilo "Bert" Castro; and a cherished grandmother to Dean Castro, Daisy Castro, Ethan Hines, and Logan Hines. Linda was the daughter of the late Pedro and Asuncion Serranzana; and the eldest of 11 brothers and sisters: Ernesto Serranzana, Luz Aguilar, Romeo Serranzana, Jaime Serranzana, Antonio Serranzana, Milagros Alarcon, Teresita David, Rufino Serranzana, Pedro Serranzana, Jr. Lina Mercado and Liza Villanueva.

We will always remember the great love she had for us; always sacrificing to put her family's needs first. She loved playing and teaching piano, loved gardening (especially growing her orchids), and especially loved her grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass will be held for Linda on Friday August 4, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. in St. John's Catholic Church, 8908 Old Branch Ave, Clinton, MD 20735; A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. in Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Rd, Clinton, MD 20735

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association.
