Frank Seabolt

Frank leaves behind his daughter, Robbie (Daniel) Long of Stevensville, Maryland; his sons, Jeffrey (Robin) Seabolt of Columbia, Maryland, and Joseph (Lori) Seabolt of Lake Gaston, North Carolina; his brother, Eddie (Nancy) Seabolt of Mt. Carmel, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Brendan (Brittany) Long of Dunkirk, Maryland, Jordan (Ashleigh) Long of Malvern, Pennsylvania, and Jacob Seabolt of Baltimore, Maryland; his great-granddaughters, Susana and Grace Long of Dunkirk, Maryland; his sister-in-law, Tracey (Ralph) Paden of Knoxville, Tennessee; his nephews, Roger Rouse, Thomas Rouse, Howard Rouse, Jimmy Seabolt, and Clint Paden; his nieces, Kathryn Paden and Patricia Paden; and his cherished friend and companion, Betty Ciomei of Bowie, Maryland.

Frank was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Patricia Anne Robinette Seabolt; his parents, Tonner and Jonnie Hitchcock Seabolt; his brother, Bill Seabolt; his sister, Mattie Rouse; his brother-in-law, Tom Rouse; his sister-in-law, Mary Lynne Lipe; and his niece, Kelli Lipe.

Frank was born in Sparta, Tennessee, on November 14, 1934. When he was a young boy, his family moved to Rogersville, Tennessee, where he met Patsy, his future wife and soulmate. They were married on April 27, 1957. He attended Rogersville High School, graduating in 1953.

Frank then attended Tennessee Wesleyan University, where he participated in choir and drama. He graduated in 1961 with a Bachelor of Science degree. Frank also proudly served in the United States Army and completed a tour of duty in Korea.

Frank enjoyed a 40-year teaching career, retiring from Prince George's County Public Schools. He began his career teaching elementary school in Tennessee before moving to Maryland, where he taught science and health.

Frank was a member of Glendale United Methodist Church in Glendale, Maryland, where he was an active member of the choir. He later attended St. Matthew's United Methodist Church in Bowie, Maryland.

Frank loved his family more than words can express. His wife, Patsy, before her passing, and their children meant the world to him. He thought his grandsons walked on water, and his two great-granddaughters were the apple of his eye.

Frank loved music, animals, and traveling, with Hawaii being one of his favorite destinations. He was an avid gardener and birdwatcher and enjoyed hiking the Appalachian Trail with Jeff and Joe. He and Patsy hosted countless wonderful parties for church friends and fellow teachers.

Twenty-two years ago, Frank met Betty Ciomei of Bowie, Maryland, who became his cherished friend and companion. They enjoyed sharing nightly dinners together, especially Tuesday night tacos at Taco Bell.

Frank lived life to the fullest, and his family and friends will miss him terribly.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. on August 14, 2026, at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home in Bowie, Maryland. A memorial service with Military Honors will follow at 11:00 a.m. Family members will then gather at Glendale United Methodist Chapel for a graveside farewell.
