Gerard Sison

Gerard Joseph Sison, 49, of Crofton, Maryland passed away on July 30, 2025. He was born on May 6, 1976, in Washington, DC, and was the eldest son of the late Judith Sison and Bruno Sison. Gerard grew up in Ft. Washington, MD and attended St Columba School and Bishop McNamara HS, Class of 1994. He attended the University of Maryland earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and a Master of Business Administration.

He was hardworking at such a young age and worked as an auto mechanic apprentice in high school and throughout college. After receiving his degrees he worked at various companies such as PepsiCo, Giant/Peapod, Rhee Brothers, and most recently Reading Truck managing the daily operations and logistics.

He was a devoted husband, loving father and friend to many. He enjoyed watching professional sports but also loved watching and supporting his children play sports – soccer, dance, and gymnastics. His love for family, sports, and capturing memories led him to an interest in photography. He was always snapping pictures even in ordinary moments and of course was always found on the sidelines, at a meet, or a competition documenting his children’s sports activities.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Christina, and four children, Marissa Grace, Rachel Nicole, Anthony Joseph, and Jenna Lyn; his father Bruno Sison; his brother Brian Sison; his sister-in-law Chrissie Sison; his nieces Isabella Rose, Annalise Elizabeth, Alexandra Marie, and his nephew Giovanni Joseph. He is preceded in death by his mother Judith Tanseco Sison.

A visitation for Gerard will be held Monday, August 18, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM & 6-8 PM at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 in St Elizabeth Ann Seton Church 1800 Seton Dr, Crofton, MD 21114.

He will be laid to rest following his graveside service at 1:30 PM on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 in Resurrection Cemetery, 8000 Woodyard Rd, Clinton, MD 20735.
