Homer is the brother of James Smith of New Bloomfield, PA. Homer is also survived by his seven grandchildren Stephanie Long and her husband Todd, Nicole Smith, Brian Smith, Caroline Smith, Christopher Wisor, Justin Wisor and Kyle Wisor. Family will receive friends at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m., Thursday, July 19, 2012 at Good Samaritan Lutheran Church, 10110 Greenbelt Rd., Lanham, MD 20706. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
