Our friendship was brief.  Somehow we lost touch but you crossed my mind often.  Rest in peace. My condolences to your family.

Sincere condolences to the family. May God give you peace and comfort during your hours of sorrow. Its been many years since I've seen Jimmy (Carver H.S /North Newport News - era), but I do remember his humorous ,wonderful personality!  Rest in peace my friend.

Jerry was a wonderful man.  He loved you so deeply and you was his V.  Jerry was a big man with a big heart.  I remember one day coming from the store and Jerry came home.  He sat on the front step and said "Mary, thank you for looking out for V".  Jerry always had something nice to say. You took very good care of Jerry and he made sure all that knew him knew that you were his right arm.  Jerry always had something good to say about his V. Jerry may be absent from this world but he will always remain in your heart and he hearts of others.  May Jerry rest in peace!

My friend,the straight shooter, this was a shock, we lost touch sometime in 2011, nevertheless, we had some wonderful times at George Washington Carver High and Hampton Institute. You were my baby brother @ HI and I think that's where the name "Jerry" originated because you needed an "alias" to stay out of trouble. I love you and I pray that my Lord will welcome you with wide open arms to your new home. Bless the family, especially the twins Sharon and Sheila. He loved you guys dearly. Jimmy, Jerry, BuJune all the names we called you - I will miss you! Rest in peace.

 My cousin, my friend, I miss you already. I can hear you now... Hey Cuz, what's up? Man, you had a big heart and loved DC. You worked and played hard.  If you were lucky enough to be called friend you had him for life and he went to the wall for you. “Jerry” was one of a kind and they broke the mold when he was born.  He was my protector all through elementary school and boy did we fun!  You always had my back in the best and worst of times.
God took you home suddenly ... rest now. You are so missed.

We met in the early 70's when we were in school, riding bikes through Rock Creek Park and just enjoying the City, wow what a City it was then. I miss you already dear friend.
