Grieving the lose of someone you love is never easy. Jim was a huge part of my life. He has left me with so many fond memories and he will forever be in my heart. Jim was a combination of so many skills and talents. He was a skilled artist when painting and drawing caricatures. Some of his works will be family mementoes for generations to enjoy.
He also was self-taught to play the guitar and he thought that he could sing. Jim could create, build and repair anything using the thousands of tools that he accumulated. Since he enjoyed yard sales, he was always adding to the tool collection. “Enjoy” is not a strong enough word to describe his pleasure in traveling all day to every yard sale within fifty or so miles.
Jim also bought and displayed in his yard every Christmas decoration imaginable and the many inside decorations had to make noise. When Jim was not using his skills and talents, he was watching John Wayne using his in movies.
