On April 17, 2012 of Riverdale, MD; beloved husband of Dolores E. Blackwell; loving father of John A. Blackwell (Barbara), James A. Blackwell (Linda), Timothy B. Blackwell (Sharon), Donna M. Warren (George), Patricia A. Westland (Perry) and J'Anne E. Lavin (Mike). Also survived by 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Evans Funeral Home, Rt. 450 and Racetrack Rd., Bowie, MD on Sunday, April 22 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, Riverdale, MD on Monday, April 23 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
