John, thinking back to my years at Whole Foods is full of memories of you.  From Annapolis to Silver Spring, then back to Annapolis, I have always had so much respect for you.  You were an amazing chef and so much fun to be around.  I remember when you came to my college graduation.  That meant so much to me.  You will be missed by so many but I am privileged to have known you.  My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

John, thinking back to my years at Whole Foods I have so many memories of you.  From my years in Annapolis and then following you to Silver Spring, I always had so much respect for you.  You were so much fun to work with and were the best at what you did.  I always enjoyed our chats on the "front line."   I remember how happy I was when you came to my college graduation.  That meant so much to me.  You will be missed by so many and I am priviledged to have worked with you.

It was such a joy to work with you at the old Annapolis store. I always looked forward to working with you, even at 5:00a.m  you could make us laugh. I loved to hear you sing so early in the morning.  You were a happy person and made us happy to be around you.  Sing to the angels, I will miss you.

I have only just learned about John's passing this morning as I was trying to 'find' him.  When I was 16 I met John while working for Marriott and he became my best friend for years.  He is truly one of a kind and no one could ask for a better friend.  Although I haven't spoken to him in a long time I thought of him and his craziness often. John you will indeed be missed by your Whole Foods Family,  you touched so many of our lives.
