Judith Adeline Williams

On Tuesday, January 25, 2022, Judith (Judy) Adeline Williams, of College Park, MD passed away at the age of 76. She was a loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Judy was born on June 17, 1945 to Clarence and Adeline Pittenger in Millburn, NJ. After high school, she met her husband and in April 1968, they wed. Together they moved to Ohio and started their lives, having three sons, Daniel II, David and Dwight. Ultimately moving and settling in Maryland.

Judy was a loving, kind and proud dedicated public servant until her retirement from the National Gallery of Art in 2007. A former Ladies Auxiliary President for the Greenbelt VFW Auxiliary Post, Judy gave her time to many events honoring our veterans.

Judy was a life long and steadfast friend to many people. Not withstanding distance or time, she maintained her friendships, sending weekly letters across the United States.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and son, David. She will be eternally remembered by her husband of 53 years, Daniel; her sons, Daniel II and partner Yumi Foster, Alexandria, Va and Dwight and daughter-in-law Sonya, Severna Park, MD; her brothers, George, Edgar and James Pittenger, New Jersey; her grandsons, Daniel III and Blane; her granddaughters, Kailey, Chloe, Kendall and Candace; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.

There will be a funeral mass in memory of Judy on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 4902 Berwyn Road, College Park, MD at 1 pm. Reception to follow.
