Kevin William Conroy of Crofton, Maryland passed away on September 4, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with respiratory complications. He was 64 years old. Born February 19, 1962, Kevin was raised in Bowie, Maryland and attended Queen Anne School where he met his wife Patricia (Tricia). Kevin and Tricia were married for 40 years.
Kevin was a man who believed strongly in giving to his community. He was a proud US Army veteran and his contributions to his community continued in his political work as a Councilmen to the Bowie City Council and as an activist and aide to many local Democratic campaigns in his lifetime. He also supported the local Boys and Girls club as a youth coach and staunch advocate.
Kevin is preceded in death by his father, The Honorable Senator Edward T. Conroy, and by his mother, The Honorable Delegate Mary A. Conroy
Kevin is survived by his wife Tricia and his two children, Brendan and Kathryn.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to St. Jude Children’s Hospital can be made in Kevin’s honor.
