

Louise Marie Calmon passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016 following a nine year battle with posterior cortical atrophy that she fought so bravely. A resident of Odenton, Maryland, formerly a 30 year resident of Bowie, Maryland. Louise is the wife of Eugene B. Calmon; daughter of the late Thomas A. Gannon and Louise Marie Fitzpatrick Gannon; mother of Therese Horn and her companion Lawrence Rodkin, Eileen Patterson and her husband Eugene, Karen Gauvin and her husband Michael, Louise Hayes and her husband Dennis, Thomas Calmon and his wife Andrea, and the late Geraldine F. and Eugene B. Calmon Jr.; grandmother of Brian Moss, Stephen Moss, David Gainer, Daniel Patterson, Scott Patterson and his wife Merissa, Michael Gauvin and his wife Nicole, Shannon Gauvin, Katie Gauvin and her fiancé Christopher, Sandy Malone and her husband Donny, William Hayes and his wife Jessica, Hannah Hayes, Nicholas Hayes, Rachael Hayes, Thomas "TJ" Calmon, Jr., Caroline Calmon, Jackson Miller and Kyle Miller; great-grandmother of James Gauvin, Jase Gauvin, Isabella Shaver, Jacob Shaver, Kimberly Malone, Sophia Hayes and William "Liam" Hayes; sister of Helen Cook and Peter Gannon and the late James and Thomas Gannon, Jr. Family will receive friends at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD from2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm, Tuesday, January 5, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 16501 Annapolis Road, Bowie, 10 am, Wednesday, January 6, 2016. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, P. O. Box 1000, Memphis, TN 38101.
