Margaret was a lovely person and will  be greatly missed.  We particularly enjoyed our lively and funny discussions with her and the girls after Sunday mass.  We will keep her and the Cornwell family in our prayers.

To Margaret's Family,
I am so sorry to here of the passing of Margaret.  Every day I have the pleasure of seeing her beautiful face displayed on the wall of faces that is in the lobby of UFCW International Union President's Office. I am also a shopper at the Giant she worked at and I noticed her one day and told her that her picture was at the International Headquarters and she remembered posing for the picture and she also knew that it was part of the collage.   She will be greatly missed at the store.  Always remember  "Earth has no sorrow that heaven can't heal".

Victoria and Alexandra, I was so saddened to learn last night about your  Mother.  I remember meeting her (and the two of you) at one of Patty Cox' parties.  She was always so happy and loved the two of you girls so much.  I know she had big plans for your futures.  I hope that the two of you are taking care of each other and your Father and brother.  Your Mother would want you all to be strong for her.  I wish I could join Patty at the services, but I am away for work.  She was a truely sweet and loving person.   Regina Funk, Washington, DC

I shop at the Bowie Giant every Sunday. Over the years I have gotten to know a few of the Staff. Margaret was one of the nicest people I have met. One day I asked her if she had done a local commercial regarding Unions - she smiled and said "Yes that was me"....she was so shocked that I recognized her. We laughed about that. She was always so pleasant and went out of her way to help. On another occassion she went in the back to get a salad that I wanted from the deli that had not been unpacked - and wasn't in the case - but she knew I wanted it. My prayers go out to the Cornwell family. I will always remember my encounters with Margaret. She was a very special person. May she rest in PEACE.

Even here in Naples, Florida, the name "Cornwell" caught our eyes.  That's because I'm sure you are the son of "Pat" and Louise.  We are Doris and Bill Whitlock, have been retired to Florida for ten years.  My mother Edith and your father were sister and brother and she was concerned about you and your family.
We are so sorry to read of your loss, probably a young woman compared to us, now 80 and 83.  Our grandmother Georgie had four children to raise after the death of her husband.  Harvey Cornwell is living in Bryans Road, MD, and my brother Frank is in P.G. County.  We lost brother John to a brain tumor (at 52 yrs.) in 1994.
I regret that we have not been more "in touch" throughout the years.
