Cynthia was a very warm, pleasant and beautiful person. I've seen her over the years during our combined OT/PT meetings but really got a chance to know her one summer when I worked with her during ESY. Cynthia was always kind and helpful to me, a joy to work with. My deepest condolences are extended to her family. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord and she is in God's care now for all eternity.

Dear Dani and Bear,
Your mother carried with her a beautiful spirit!
She will be greatly missed. Focus on the happy times and
those special moments. It will help you knowing that your mother
is that special guardian angel in heaven as she was in Life.

God Bless You Both

I had the pleasure of meeting Cynthia in 2014 when I started working at Frances Fuchs. I later had the opportunity to meet her son & daughter too! They both were very respectful kids. Over the years she taught me a lot of different strategies of working with kids with Autism. It's very heartbroken to know that she want be at Fuchs anymore. I will miss talking to her in the hallway, her coming to our room, laughing with her, & last just seeing her everyday. I had just talked to Cynthia on Monday July 29 about my daughter Brittany graduating from Bowie in May 2020, an she said Darryl will be too! We both laughed, an said that we will see each other there. I didn't know that would be my last conversation with her. I will continue to use ALL the GREAT strategies that she taught me over the years. My condolences goes to her children & the rest of her family.

Ms. Cynthia was such an inspiration to us all. In my first years at Fuchs she was constantly teaching me something new and always reminding me to ask for help if needed. She has touched so many people, her legacy will continue to seed and grow the children and teachers of the future. Praying for the family during this tragic time. Rest easy that there is no more pain for her on this earth and she is now watching over you all.

Cynthia you will truly be missed. I am so honored that we got to cross paths. I will certainly miss seeing you in the hallways at Frances Fuchs and your stops by my office. My prayers are with your children and family during their time of need. May God give them the comfort and strength they need to get through this difficult time. - Nurse Kyna

I almost have no words, I still can't believe we lost such an amazing person so soon. I've learned so much from her over the years and I will miss her deeply. Rest in peace Cynthia

I had the privilege of working with Cynthia for the last 10 years. At first, she seemed super serious to me, but the more we worked together I discovered she had quite a sense of humor. We worked together closely on several cases. Cynthia was easy to work with and she always did what was right for children. She knew her craft well! We said goodbye at the end of the school year and I had no idea that would be our last little hallway talk together. Cynthia will be missed dearly!

I had the privilege and pleasure of working with Cynthia for many years at Frances Fuchs. She was an extraordinarily knowledgeable occupational therapist who cared deeply about her students. Cynthia always made time to talk with me when I had questions about students and asked for her advice about how to engage them during testing. I learned so much from her, and I will always remember her excitement when she shared a student’s progress with me. I will miss Cynthia’s kindness, sense of humor, collegiality, and professionalism. I can’t imagine Frances Fuchs without her. My sincere condolences to her family.
