Mary Rita Burton

Mary Rita Burton of Bowie, Maryland, formerly of Landover Hills, passed away on Monday, January 10, 2022. Mary is the wife of the late Charles B. Burton; mother of Judith Ann Hornung (Fred), Maureen Louise Barber (Allen), Joan Marie Ledman (Albert), Barbara Ann Shadrick (Earnest), Charles Thomas Burton (Grettchen) and the late John Michael and Joseph Michael Burton. Mary was predeceased by six siblings and one great granddaughter. She is survived by 16 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, 15 great great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and long-time friends. Arrangements will be announced at a later date when it is safe to gather.
