In 1959 Mary joined the Manned Space Flight Office at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. She was part of the Mercury Program when Alan Shepherd and John Glenn made their historic flights. Mary’s career advanced until her retirement during the Shuttle Program.
Mary was a devoted daughter, sister to Diana Richardson and George Catloth, sister-in-law to Julie Catloth, and loving aunt to many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and a nephew.
Viewing at Robert Evans Funeral Home on Monday, November 6, from 4-6 pm, with service on Tuesday,
November 7, at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery at 1:00 pm.
