Mom, I'm glad God chose you to be my mother. You were knowledgeable, patience, nonjudgmental, and had a great sense of humor. You always said, that you tried to be nice to everyone, and you were. You will be missed.

To the McQuade family:
Jerry and I are so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. We have such found memories of the times we spent over at your house in Bowie. Your Mom always had something nice to say and the laughter was the greatest. She will be missed.

Mary Jeanne McQuade, aka Nan, I am so fortunate to have such a beautiful soul as my grandma. To the Wheel of Fortune, QVC, and West Side Story viewings, to the style tips and life advice, to the stories about grade school and everything in between, I’ll never forget the times we shared.

Miss you very much. Love you always. Rest easy.

I could never understand why others couldn't get along with their Mother-in-law and would say such horrible things about them. That was never the case for me. Mary Jeanne was one of the kindest and most-welcoming persons I ever met. In addition, she was fun to be around and have a glass of wine with -- one of my many fondest memories. Mary Jeanne, I toast you as the best Mother-in-law any girl could ask for, and be so lucky to have known.

Mom: Who is going to remind me of your famous saying, “now just think for a moment, would Jackie O wear that”?

Love and kisses, Denny
