Nancy Elise Blaker

Nancy Elise Haynes Blaker,80 of Bowie died February 2, 2015 . Beloved wife of the late (retired)LTC John Raynard Blaker whom she married on October 11, 1952. She was born to the late Laura Virginia Strong Haynes and John Lawrence Haynes in Clifton Forge, VA. Mother to Laura Elise Blaker and John Mark Blaker. Grandmother to John, Evan, Ashley and Cody Blaker, great grandmother to Leland Smith and Logan and Liam Boyle. She is survived by brother John Haynes and a sister, Sandra Haynes . She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, her special friend Cindy Todd and her beloved friends and family at United Parrish of Bowie where she sang in the choir. She was preceded in death by brothers, Thomas, Edward and Robert and sisters, Doris Bonner and Dreama McDaniel.

Family will receive friends Friday, February 6, 2015 3-5 and 7-9 pm at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Rd. Bowie, MD 20715. A Funeral will take place 11 am, Saturday, February 7, 2015 at United Parish of Bowie, 2515 Mitchellville Rd. Bowie, MD . Interment will take place at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery.
