The Pimentel-Díaz family announces with great sadness and regret the death of our beloved brother, husband, father, and grandfather: Rafael Bolivar Pimental Olaverria, age 87, of Lanham, Maryland passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2023. Rafael was born in Dominican Republic.

Rafael was survived by his wife:

Francia Pimentel 61 years of marriage,

Noraima Pimentel, Milene Pimentel and husband Ernesto Tejeda, Rafael Pimentel, Francis Pimentel and partner Glenys , Kilvia Pimentel and husband Patrick Delaney

His siblings and their spouses:

Neira Pujol, Caciano Olaverria and wife Sonia McKinney, Esmeralda Aristy and husband Pepelo Vicente, Manuel Aristy, Gisela Pimentel, Luis Pimentel and wife Clara Rivera, Juan Pimentel and wife Negra Pimentel, Osmilda Pimentel and husband Antonio Hernandez, Austria Pimentel, Mercides Pimentel and husband Marino Pimentel and Yovanni Castillo and wife Yonis Castillo.

His grandchildren and their spouses:

A visitation for Rafael will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, MD 20715.

The Spiritual Service will occur Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 4:00 PM, at the Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, Bowie, MD 20715.
