On July 9, 2015 after a short battle with cancer. Beloved husband of 34 years to Cindy Lou Schlauch. He is survived by son Richard Allen Schlauch, II and fiancé Samantha Blachowske, daughter Kimberly Michelle Schlauch and fiancé Joseph Kidwell and grandson Richard Allen Schlauch, III. He was in the U.S. Navy, serving in Vietnam, was an avid bowler, Redskins fan, fantasy football champion and dedicated family man.Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 15, 2015, 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m., at Robert E. Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Rd., Bowie, MD 20715 where a Funeral Service will be held Thursday, July 16, 2015, 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Fort Lincoln Cemetery.Memorial Contributions may be made in his name to the American Diabetes
