Even though we've only been neighbors for a few years, we will miss Bob's faded red cap, occasional chats over the fence, and his toils over and fruits from the wonderful garden and landscaping. Anita and family, our thoughts are with you in your loss and best regards as your new chapters unfold.

Love, Randy and Lea

I am partially aware of Bob's decades of religious faith via two of my relatives. While Bob was not one to impose his religious conviction on others, I saw without exception a performance at the workplace which quite loudly trumpeted a set of humanity-based reasons for such a faith. These are the times, when religion is being condemned (it seems everywhere) when we need for such persons to become more plentiful, more appreciated and more supported.

Bob will be remembered for his amazing dedication and focus, as well as his consideration and compassion for others. He was one of the most honest and straightforward people I have ever worked with. Everyone will miss him terribly – a great loss for all of us.

Bob was such a great person. We worked on safety issues at UM for years. Safety was always his top priority. His humor was infectious. Sometimes I would call him and say "Safety Department". He would reply "I didn't do it!". I will miss you Bob.
