

Born in Winchester, VA on June 26,1945. Sharron was a beloved figure in her community and the matriarch of the family. Sharron touched many lives with her kindness, generosity and was always a good listener. Sharron resided in Maryland for most of her life and for the past 22 years living in Florida with her husband of 60 plus years, William Abrams. Sharron was an active member of many organizations and clubs in her community, St Joseph Ladies Society, St Joseph Ladies Craft Group, Naples Orchid Society, Ocean Pines Red Hat Society as well local gardening & Mahjong groups.
Sharron had a deep love for entertaining, gardening, spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, arts and crafts. Sharron enjoyed cultivating her prize-winning orchids, donated to Tunnels to Towers, junking/thrifting. Sharron’s home was always open to friends & family, lively discussions, the aroma of tasty food and cold drinks.
Sharron will be deeply missed by her loving family, Her beloved husband, William Abrams after nearly 60 plus years of marriage including her children, Patrick Abrams and wife, Delia, Stephanie Abrams Shapard and husband, Ron, Victoria Abrams Gibbons and husband, Jeff; her cherished grandchildren, Jessica Burch and husband, Josh, Kristin Gibbons and husband, Nicholas Ringrose, Kyle Abrams, Shannon Gibbons and fiancé, Sean Wendling, Christopher Shapard, Kathryn Shapard and her siblings, Gary Cain and partner, Lil, Wally Cain and wife, Aranya. Sharron is survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will forever remember her for having a listening ear, unwavering support, and warm embrace. Sharron was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Calvin Cain and Rhodelle Whitacre Cain and her grandmother, Lohr Whitacre.
A memorial service to celebrate Sharron's life will be at 11:00 on Saturday 8/16 at St Joesph Catholic Church, 1283 Odenton, MD 21113.
There will be a catered luncheon that will immediately following Mass in Corrigan Hall adjacent to the church.
