Suzanne Byron Byrne passed away on December 19, 2025, after battling cancer. Suzanne Byrne grew up in the Maryland area before establishing her financial recordkeeping business for medical professionals in St. Louis, MO. In 2009, she moved back to Maryland to become the Director of Bowie Montessori Children’s House, originally founded by Suzanne’s mother, Anne Riley in 1966. Suzanne carried the legacy of the school for the next 8 years until her retirement. Suzanne had a love and compassion for learning, agriculture, and animals.
She was predeceased by her mother, Anne T. Riley, sister Melissa B. Golden, nieces Patricia A. Golden, and Sara C. Byron. She is survived by her brothers, William M. Byron and David W. Byron, as well as nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service and burial will be held on Friday, January 9th at 11:00am at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, 900 W. Central Ave, Davidsonville, MD.
