I was privileged to serve at sea with Tim aboard USS CONOLLY, where we were department heads.  My admiration for him was deep then and grew deeper as he continued to move up as a respected Supply Corps officer.  He served our nation with tremendous honor and integrity and though called to Glory too soon in our eyes, he was most worthy of the welcome, "well done, good and faithful servant."  Our prayer for the Wilkins family will be without ceasing.

Tim was my best friend for many years after high school as we attended Polk Community College together and attended First Assembly of God in Lakeland. He was an amazingly brilliant and intelligent human being. You will be so missed my friend. Rest in beautiful peace.

I was always in awe and inspired by Tim - his work ethic, his creativity, and his intelligence.  I was certainly glad and proud to call him a colleague and friend.  My prayers and warmest thoughts to this great shipmate and to his family.  Fair winds Tim.

Tim and I served together twice. The first time at Naval Ordnance Test Unit (NOTU) in Cape Canaveral, FL. He was a young LT and I a newly minted Chief. The second time was just a few years later at SURFLANT in Norfolk, VA. He was a LCDR and I was a Senior Chief. Tim was the honored speaker at my retirement ceremony. He spoke highly of me and when it was my turn I returned the accolades. I called him the James Brown of the Supply Corps which got a laugh, but for those who didn't get the metaphor. James Brown was a musical genius whose abilities and work ethic earned him the title of the Hardest Working Man in Show Business. Like JB, TW's genius and hard work, left an enduring legacy. I'm so very sorry to hear of Tim's moving on to rest in the peace that surpasses all understanding. A great Naval Officer - I am certain he's an Outstanding Angel! May God's peace and comfort keep his family as you cherish every wonderful smile, memory and the truly big heart he shared with us all.

A great man and a good friend. Your accomplishments were great, only out done by your compassion for others. My thoughts and prayers are with, you, your family, and those celebrating your life.
