

Wanda was born on Friday, May 13, 1966, at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA, to her mother and father, Helen and James Johnson. She spent her childhood in Temple Hills and Waldorf and attended Samuel Chase Elementary School, John Hanson Junior High School, and Thomas Stone High School. She moved to Bowie, MD in 1994 where she stayed.
Wanda worked as an accountant for Educational Systems Federal Credit Union, she was a devoted mother, sister & Aunt she has dedicated her life to helping her family and friends.
Wanda loved her coffee, she loved hanging out with friends, (Wicked) Wanda loved Halloween and dressing up, going to baseball games and concerts, she really enjoyed watching baseball (Washington Nationals), football (Washington Redskins) and hockey (Washinton Capitals) she really enjoyed following local bands and dancing. Wanda would always make dishes or desserts for anyone who asked, everyone loved her potato salad, baked beans and macaroni salad. Wanda would giver her shirt off her back to help anyone who needed it.
She is survived by her Son Cortland LeClair, Sister Forest (Dale) Hawkins (Robert Hawkins) Niece Caitlin Nicole Crouch, Best Friend of over 50 years Missey O’Brien (Dan) Niece Shawn O’Brien, Best Friend Carolyn Fontanna, her Love Robert (Bobby) Bastian and several close friends from Work Kim, Tavia, Natasha
She is proceeded in death by her Mother Helen Ramey Johnson.
Family and Friends are invited to celebrate Wanda’s life and honor her memory on Sunday July 27, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 PM in the Robert E Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie MD 20715
