Betty L. (nee Murdock) Alesse, of Amherst, entered into rest on February 8, 2023 at age 96. Betty was an artist with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Cum Laude), and took an active role in the family's book publishing enterprise. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Alesse; devoted mother of Craig (Mary Jo Muse) Alesse, Beth (David Bogumil) Alesse, Matthew (Janina Legeza) Alesse, Daniel Alesse and the late Bruce Alesse; cherished grandmother of Amanda Hunsaker (Brady), Elizabeth (Sean McCallon) Bogumil, David Bogumil, Michael Bogumil, Matthew Bogumil, Monica (Joe) Prybylski and Mark (Michaelle Chojnacki) Legeza; great-grandmother of Thomas and Benjamin Hunsaker, and Evelyn and Charlotte Prybylski; dear sister of the late Lester (late Wilma) Murdock and the late Lee Murdock; also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
