Betty Ann Gmeinder

Betty Ann (nee Wekemann) Gmeinder, of North Tonawanda, entered into rest on August 1, 2022 at age 83. Beloved wife of the late Edward W. Gmeinder; devoted mother of Michael (Deborah) Gmeinder, Eric (Lori) Gmeinder, Jeffrey Gmeinder and Loretta (Danilo Lawvere) Gmeinder; cherished grandmother of Rebekah (Andy), Larissa (Eva), Shaw, Hannah, Edoardo, Odilla, Jamila and Alice; loving daughter of the late Albert and Loretta (nee Carier) Wekemann; dear sister of the late Doris (Warren) Schreiber and Marge (William) Hughey; fond sister-in-law of the late Mary Lou Gefaller; loving "Aunt B" to Patty, Bill, Lisa and the late Richard, Kurt and Tracie; great-aunt of 11 great nieces and nephews; special cousin of June Carier Smith.
A private interment was held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at Pendleton Center United Methodist Church, 6864 Campbell Blvd., North Tonawanda, on Friday (September 23, 2022) at 11am.
