Carl J. Krauss

Age 92, July 13, 2011. Loving husband of Bernice (nee Toy); dear father of Carolyn (Ronald) Harris and Colleen

(Joseph) Weiser; cherished grandfather of Carly and Caitlin Weiser; also survived by nieces and nephews.

Carl was an avid sportsman, playing football, lacrosse, basketball and his favorite, baseball. One of his fondest

memories was catching for Hall of Famer Warren Spahn. He was a World War II Army-Air Force veteran. In 1948

Carl married the love of his life Bernice and they continued to be dedicated to each other, their family and home for

the next 62 years. His family would like to thank the Staff at Elderwood Health Care at Heathwood for their love and

compassion. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial service on Saturday July 16, St. John’s Lutheran

Church, 55 Pleasant Ave, Lancaster at 2:00 PM. Carl was a 45 yr. member of the Millennium Masonic Lodge # 1179.
