Dianna, Kurt and Dorian.
`So sorry to hear about Frank. I know we didn't keep in touch after I retired but we had 27 good years together at UB. Frank was My best friend while there and I thought of him often after I left and moved to Wellsville. Hope he didn't suffer much and I'm sure he is in a good place now. God Bless and take care... I arrived at UB as a 27 year old fresh-faced assistant professor in 1982. I quickly got to know Frank and in 1983, my grad students who worked so closely with him invited him to a bachelor's party for me. That was the beginning of a great friendship, professional interactions and just plain fun for the next 37 years. I am sorry to hear of Frank's passing, but can imagine his smart aleck personality keeping him happy even now. I had such great respect for Frank's technical skill and knowledge and he contributed to many research projects with his knowledge and deep understanding of science.
My sympathies and my respect
Joe Gardella (SUNY Distinguished Professor of Chemistry, UB)

I am sorry to hear the passing of Frank. I have good memories of Frank while being the glassblower in the Chemistry Department at UB. My thoughts are with the family during these difficult times.

We would have a daily routine of him stopping in, having a cup of coffee, discussing politics, cars, events on campus and off. Honest and open minded, right to the point Frank. After he retired, he would call to check in to see what was happening and give me updates. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and I do truly miss those days with Frank. I send my prayers and sympathy to Diana and his two boys, God bless.
