My deepest sympathies to the family. Nick was a fellow parishioner at Sacred Heart Church. He would often compliment my reading on the Sundays I lectored at mass. He was always saying thank you or complimenting people at parish events. He was a true gentleman. I will miss seeing him sitting in his pew at mass, and walking out into the parking lot and having a conversation. He is in my prayers. Rest in peace, Nick.

My condolences to the family of Nick Mueller. I was saddened to learn of his passing. He was a good friend in high school, but then afterwards we mostly lost touch with each other. We re-connected a bit after the 50-year reunion at SMHS.
I have fond memories of his ham radio rig and through the years I never forgot WA2CJJ, nor the value of the ham radio network.
During our senior year at St. Mary's, Nick was one of the people who helped me learn to drive after my father passed away. My mother hadn't driven in many years, so Nick's help was very much needed and appreciated.
I will cherish my memories of Nick, and wish for the family that the good memories they have ease somewhat the pain of loss.

My deepest sympathy to Joan and her family. I was vacationing near Old Forge. I was at Saturday eve mass and saw Nick there . We greeted each other and he wound up taking my friend and me to show us their cottage on First Lake. He was definitely not shy about talking to anyone. The following year we wound up going to a nice Italian restaurant with Nick and Joan and had a great time. We will miss seeing him at daily mass at Sacred Heart church but know his spirit will be there. God Bless you Joan.
Hugs and Love,
Sandy Wiess

I have known Nick for so many years. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I was an active volunteer firefighter for 40 years and knew Nick since his Pine Hill days. When I was fire chief for Millgrove, Nick was always there to help me with purchases or repairs. My condolences to his family.

My sincere sympathy go out to the Mueller family. I remember Nick when were young children since our Fathers were members of Pine Hill Fire Company. As a very young child my parents would take me to Nick's parents shoe store to get my new shoes. They were such wonderful caring people. I understand how Nick got to be the person he was. He came from a great "line"........Nick always had a smile for you whenever he ran into you, if it be at his store or anywhere. He had that smile and a story to tell. He was always there to help anyone any way he could..........that's the Mueller way !!

After all his suffering, we are glad to hear that Nick is peacefully at rest with our lord. My first memory of Nick was at the 1958 Science Fair at St Mary’s High . Nick was the star with his live radio broadcast. We stayed in touch up until just a few weeks ago when thought about calling him but, regrettably, didn’t. Thanks to Nick, the SMH Class of 1961 had a great 50th Reunion. We also enjoyed time spent at Old Forge with Joan and Nick. The most amazing memory of Nick was when he called me one morning in December of 2011 to tell me that my childhood home was on fire. He, as usual was listening to the emergency bands. How he remembered my address I’ll never know. We’ll miss you, Nick. God bless and keep you.
