Julia Mary Vreatt

Julia grew up in Alden, NY. She was a loving, sweet, kind, affectionate, beautiful wife, mother, sister, aunt, in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother and friend. She was called "Grammy" to everyone.

She loved her Lord, Jesus Christ. She was a lifelong volunteer at Corpus Christi Roman Catholic church in Corona, CA and was a Sunday school teacher at Bowmansville United Methodist Church in Bowmansville, NY.

She loved camping, fishing, gardening, making desserts, and spending time with family.

Julia is survived by her beloved daughter, Elaine (David) Vreatt, and predeceased by her sons, the late Thomas Rupe and late Robert Rupe (Edie). She is the dear sister of Margaret Gearhart, the late Louis Buob, and the late Clarence Buob. Beloved grandmother of Dawn Rechenberg, Danielle Estes (Shaun), Steven Rupe (Holly) and Jessica Carter (Dave). Beloved great-grandmother of Brandon Rechenberg (Kim), Stephanie Rowlan (Morgan), Blake Rechenberg, Erin Mahony (Chad) and Arianna Rupe. Beloved great-great-grandmother of Otfried Rechenberg, Oskar Rechenberg and Mason Rowlan. She was predeceased by two beloved husbands, Ernest Rupe and Robert "Bob" Vreatt.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at Transit Rural Cemetery, 5169 Genesee St., Bowmansville, NY 14026 on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 1pm. Please assemble at Transit Rural Cemetery.
